DreamWorks Pictures just provided Bloody-Disgusting with the entire batch of still for The Uninvited, which stars Elizabeth Banks, David Strathairn, Arielle Kebbel and Emily Browning. The PG-13 horror-thriller is a remake of the 2003 Korean motion picture “Changhwa, Hongryon” (A Tale Of Two Sisters) written and directed by Kim Jee-woon.

Now that The Uninvited is about to creep its way into theaters, it’s time to think back to our trip to Bowen Island outside of Vancouver, B.C. It was there where we visited the set of (what was then called) A Tale of Two Sisters. The Uninvited is actually a reimagined telling of director Kim Ji-Woon’s frightening 2003 Korean ghost thriller about two young girls who clash with their obsessive new stepmother after returning home from a stint in a mental hospital.
