Synopsis: Former Burned out veteran Eddie Dugan is just one week away from his pension and a fishing cabin in Connecticut. Narcotics officer Sal Procida has discovered there’s no line he won’t cross to provide a better life for his long-suffering wife and seven children. And Clarence “Tango” Butler has been undercover so long his loyalties have started to shift from his fellow police officers to his prison buddy Caz, one of Brooklyn’s most infamous drug dealers.

Brooklyn’s Finest is an upcoming American crime film starring Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke and Don Cheadle. It is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and written by Michael C. Martin, a one-time subway flagger from East New York. It was the first film to sell at the 2009 Sundance film festival for a sales price of “under 5 million dollars,” per Nicole Pederson, citing a report in Variety, to Senator Distribution. The film is scheduled for release on March 5, 2010.
